All projects related to live water have a unique set of challenges, and nearly all creeks, streams, and rivers have a dynamic personality. Understanding this, combined with extensive experience in the fields of fisheries habitat and environmental sciences, we have the tools and services that can be applied to all types of stream restoration projects.
Freestone Aquatics’ stream restoration approach is comprised of three phases:
- Step one is Ecosystem Evaluation and is the crucial first step in determining the potential of all of our projects. Once the goals of the project are determined we will cater an evaluation to fit each project.
- Aquatic Habitat Design is the next step which will encompass the goals of the client, as they are in line with fisheries/wildlife professionals, hydrologists, engineers, and permitting agencies.
- The final phase is Construction, which we pride ourselves on producing a final product that looks as natural and is sustainable for years to come.
