Chad recently joined Freestone Aquatics in winter of 2025 as a Field Technician and Assistant to the Field Superintendent. He received his BS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in 2012. He spent much of his career working in the field for various state and federal agencies collecting biological data as an aquatic ecologist. Chad conducted field research on threatened species in California and completed stream habitat assessments across the Mountain West including Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.

Chad’s responsibilities with Freestone Aquatics include heavy equipment operation, surveying, and fisheries related tasks such as data collection and monitoring.

In his free time, Chad enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting with his dog as well as white water paddling.
